Often times when producing a video, more video is recorded than will be needed for the final product. The off line video edit is a low cost way of sifting through and organizing your video recordings before you finish in an on line edit.

During this process you take notes using time code coordinates and determine what footage you would like loaded into the edit computer before you enter the edit suite. This activity can be done outside the studio to save on production cost or it can be done with a video editor to get a second opinion, fix poor sounding audio and brainstorm a creative direction with your video editor.
