Creativity is one of the most frustrating and misunderstood activities for businesses. Most people can create for other people but not themselves.

We like to refer to the Floyd Wickman method of creativity called “Fish-boning” where your creative team sits around a table and contributes ideas and details about the topic you are trying to create.

One of the rules in “Fish-boning” is that there is no criticisms or wrong answers. One person draws a picture of the skeleton of a fish on a large sheet of paper. The picture is passed around the room and each person contributes an idea by way of word at the end of each bonce on the skeleton of the fish. Sound gross? It’s actually a very powerful creative process.

Creativity is one of our strengths at Primeau Productions, LLC. Yes, we use “Fish-boning” at times, but we also meditate and ask our client a lot of questions. We help our clients take their goods and services and create a compelling message that is communicated through video.

The first step in the video production process is to create a script so everyone on the production team understands the vision of the video. The script communicates all images, voice over and shots that will be used in your video.

The second step in the creative process is to determine the video shots that will be needed to complete your video. When shooting video at your business or other location, a shot sheet will help the production crew stay on track and in budget because this is a list of video clips necessary to execute your video vision.

It all begins with an idea, and Primeau productions, LLC is an idea machine.
